Nine rounds Swiss system in one group. First five rounds according to rating, last four according to Buchholz. Swiss Master pairing software will be used in this tournament.
Players have 45 minutes to the end of the game (no increment).
Before the start of the tournament, you can request up to two byes. For each bye half a point is scored. Registered players who have paid their entry fee in advance, but don't arrive in time for registration (9:45 AM) will automatically get a bye in round 1.
The results in this tournament will not influence your rating.
There will be played according to the FIDE-rules of the chess game, version January 2018. According to this version only the second illegal move will lead to the loss of a game, after the first illegal move two minutes extra time will be awarded to the opponent.
- The default time is 45 minutes (see article 6.7).
- Article 11.3.2 will be replaced by the following determination: "Only if a player is caught with a phone or other electronic means of communication that is switched on, the player loses the game unless the referee decides otherwise."
- Appendix A (Rules for Rapid Chess) is applicable, the other appendices are not. Article A3 is not applicable.
- Guidelines III (Games without increment including Quickplay Finishes) is applicable, the other guidelines are not. The articles III.4 and III.6 are not applicable.

In case of a tie score the winner will be determined first based on Buchholz system, then Sonneborn-Berger system and then TPR.
Prizes can't be shared. Players can win only one prize and must be present at the price distribution. Players who don't have a rating can't win a rating prize.
The rating categories don't have a lower limit. This means that a player with a rating of 1375 theoretically can win the rating prize below 2400.
